Qiddiya circuit
The Qiddiya circuit is a proposed motor racing circuit that is planned to be built in Qiddiya in Saudi Arabia. The circuit is being designed by former Formula One driver Alexander Wurz. The circuit was designed to fit the specifications for FIA Grade 1 standards, which would allow it to host a Formula One Grand Prix. The circuit was designed with the intention of holding a Formula One or MotoGP race, with 2023 cited as the earliest date for the inaugural race.[1] Wurz described the circuit as making use of the landscape to introduce elevation changes and to "challenge drivers and engineers alike".[2]
