NoStrings Development Initiatives, a human rights organization led by the LGBTIQ+ community in Nigeria, created the Qtalk app in 2019. The app provides free psychosocial and legal support from qualified doctors, therapists, and lawyers to over 2,000 individuals in Nigeria. At first, the app was only available on Android, but it expanded to iOS devices in September of this year due to its success. The app is an important resource for the Nigerian LGBTIQ+ community. Being an LGBT person in Nigeria is a criminal offence according to the same-sex Prohibition Act. (SSPA)
