Quark XML Author
Quark XML Author is an add-in for Microsoft Word for the creation and editing of XML files. It was introduced in 2002.[1] The program's main focus is on allowing users with no knowledge of XML to create XML documents.
Quark XML Author was originally developed as XML Author by In.vision Research, based in Florida, in July 2008.[disputed ] XML Author’s name was changed and was added to Quark, Inc.'s product line through their acquisition of In.vision Research.[citation needed]
