Queen Anusuya was the elder queen and wife of the king of the Pauravas, King Bamni, and the princess of Takshashila. She was the mother of Purushottam (Porus), who ruled the kingdom of Punjab. She was born in 380 B.C.E and was the younger sister of King Ambhiraj (Ambhi). She was a Takshashilan warrior and writer.
