Queenie Singh is an Indian supermodel, socialite, Former Miss India, (1987 ) entrepreneur, and CEO and founder of Beauty by Bie and Jewels by Queenie.[1]

Queenie Singh, a graduate in Mathematics and an international style icon was born in the Indian capital, New Delhi.[2]
Career[edit]
Queenie has multiple entrepreneurial ventures such as a clean skincare line named BiE which she launched in 2021 in collaboration with skin Guru Dinyar Workingboxwalla and an exquisitely handcrafted jewellery brand Jewels by Queenie.[3] Her jewellery is donned by notable clientele like Naomi Campbell, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Chelsea Clinton, and Bollywood personalities like Sonam Kapoor, Shridevi, Malaika Arora, Lara Dutta, and Rhea Pillai.[4]
“Every piece I make is a style statement,” says Queenie Singh, the line, ‘Jewels By Queenie’ which has existed since 2003. She has held successful exhibitions all over India and internationally.[5]
More than just a socialite, she was among India’s leading runway models in the 1980s and 1990s.[6] Queenie’s Midday Makeover and Mumbai Mirror columns has been transformative and keeping abreast of the latest happening.[7]
She began writing for The Times of India and as a weekly columnist for Asian Age and a stylist for Marie Claire magazine in 2010. Besides Queenie’s journalistic aptitude, she had launched ‘Haute’, a quarterly fashion magazine in 2006. Queenie also used to write as a monthly travel blogger for India Today Travel Plus Magazine, along with a monthly feature in Hello! called ‘Societe De Queenie.[8]

After an overwhelming response and ample admiration, Queenie and Rukshana Eisa have launched their very own finishing school- ‘Gazelle’. Queenie was offered to mentor the makeovers of Jassi (Mona Singh), Smriti Irani and Dolly Thakore as a result of her Mid day contribution.[9]
Personal life[edit]
She was previously married to businessman Raja Dhody with whom she has a daughter, Tiara Dhodhy and son, Rajveer Dhody.[10] In 2015 she tied the knot with Rishi Sethia on a luxury yacht in St Tropez. France. The couple has a daughter together, Sahana Chitra Sethia.[11]

Queenie Singh, the most widely recognized party hostesses in Mumbai, has hosted celebrities like Paris Hilton, Dalien Lolan and Christopher Forbes.[12] The Former Miss India featured in ‘Vogue Italia’, March 2003, as one of the most stylish women of India. She has also been a recipient of the ‘Society Young Achievers Award’ in 2005. [8] Queenie Singh was also the judge for the August 2010 Vogue beauty awards[13]. In June 2010 Queenie was a part of the Retail Jeweller India Awards as a grand jury member. [14]

- In 2010, Queenie Singh was awarded the ‘Most Stylish Woman’ award by DNA.[15]
- ‘Pantene Shine Awards’ honoured her with an award for ‘Grooming expert’ in September, 2006.[16]
