Lindsay began rapping under the name SOS Quelly in 2018, uploading to Soundcloud before he began making music professionally under his stage name Quelly Woo[1], releasing his first EP Tactical Pressure Vol. 1 in April 2021 featuring hit singles Bacc Out, Pain Into Passion, and Hot Winter, releasing the deluxe later that month. Lindsay has worked with an array of other artists such as Lil Yachty, Set Da Trend, Dread Woo, OnPointLikeOP and more.
Early life: Lindsay grew up in Canarsie, Brooklyn with his Jamaican mother. As a child he listened to Reggae and RnB music rather than just Hip-hop specifically, notably John Legend, Kanye West, and T-Pain[2]. Lindsay would hang out with his friends and freestyle for fun making songs on GarageBand, his friends telling him to take music seriously which inspired him to do so[3]. Lindsay was a big fan of basketball growing up[4].
Career: In 2018, Lindsay began making music under the name SOS Quelly on Soundcloud, noting inspirations like A Boogie With Da Hoodie. During an On The Radar interview with Justin Credible of LA Leakers, he mentioned that Pop Smoke had contacted him the day before his tragic passing, saying he wanted a verse on Lindsay's hit single Bacc Out, which unfortunately never came into fruition[5]. In April 2021 his first EP Tactical Pressure Vol. 1 was released on all digital streaming platforms followed by it's respective deluxe version. Later that year in December he released his second EP Top Prospect, along with the single Motion. In March of 2022 he released the deluxe Top Prospect - Lottery Pick featuring Kemo. On March 17th, 2023 he released his third EP Time And Perseverance along with the single T.A.P.
