Quinton C. Lightbourne is a Bahamian Senator.[1] and Certified Financial Planner who presently serves as Chairman of The Bahamas Development Bank since October 1, 2021[2][3]. He is the youngest Chairman in the bank’s history[4]
Career[edit]
For a period of time Lightbourne worked as an Operations and Funds Analyst at Credit Suisse AG, Nassau Branch in the Wealth Management Department. He also worked as an Investment Officer at The Bahamas Investment Authority in The Office of The Prime Minister. He is also an Investment & Finance columnist for The Nassau Guardian[5] and earned his Certified Financial Planner designation from the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. Lightbourne was appointed and sworn in as a government senator on October 4, 2021 where he currently serves.
