R23 Criminals Diary is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language Crime Thriller film[1] Written and Directed by Goutham Raghavendra, and produced by Rascal Picturez. This film stars Yashika Anand, Imman Annachi, Jega, Pavithra Lakshmi, Rakesh Sethu. This movie was released on 17th December 2021 alongside the biggest blockbuster movie like Pushpa: the rise. Despite having big releases on the same date, this movie managed to create a buzz among the industry and had a successful Box-Office run. This movie was received well by the audience and the critics appreciated the film's screenplay, which kept the audience engaged till the end of the movie.

Plot
The movie starts off with a criminal who has surrendered himself in a police station stating that he has killed Varsha (Yashika Anand) and then the inspector Rayappan (Imman Annachi) who was appointed to handle this case starts interrogating the criminal, with the help of his sub-inspector Madan who goes on-field to investigate the whole scenario of what exactly happened and whether the criminal is genuine in admitting his mistake. Later he comes to know the crime which he admitted was only a facade and he had other plans.
