Ravi Dutta Sharma, popularly known as RD Sharma, is a well-known Indian author and editor. He is most known for his series of mathematics textbooks for Grades XI through XII and for the IIT-JEE exams used by IIT universities for B.Tech programme.[1][2][3]

RD Sharma holds double gold medals in both Bachelor of Science (Hons.) and Master of Science, which he earned from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Department of Science and Humanities at the Directorate of Technical Education. Additionally, he holds the position of Vice Principal at Aryabhatta Institute of Technology.[4]

He obtained his Ph.D. in Magnetohydrodynamics Heat Transfer from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.[4]
