RFP360 is a privately owned, request for proposal (RFP) software company based in Leawood, Kansas. The SaaS company provides a cloud-based platform for issuing and responding to RFPs and serves 60 industries including software and tech, financial, legal and consulting.[1][2]

RFP360 has received two investments from Kansas City-based investment firm, Five Elms Capital. The initial investment in 2018 and a second-round investment in 2020 total $12 million. Notable customers include Lockton, Toyota, PwC, Aetna, AMC, Brandwatch, Charles Schwab and National Geographic Cengage.[1][3] The company serves more than 23,000 users from 5,000 organizations.[4]

  • The company was founded by Dave Hulsen and Stuart Ludlow in 2012 in the Kansas City Startup Village in Waldo, Kansas City and originally operated as RFP365.[5]
  • In February 2015, the company raised $950,000 from angel investors.[6]
  • In December 2018, the company rebranded to RFP360.[7]
  • In November 2018, the company added artificial intelligence capabilities to the platform's search engine.[7]
  • In April 2019, RFP360 was recognized by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce as a Top 10 Small Business.[8]
  • In August 2019, RFP360 consolidated three office locations and opened a new headquarters in Leawood, Kansas.[5]
  • In August 2020, RFP360 was named one of Kansas City's Best Places to Work by the Kansas City Business Journal.[9]

Services[edit]

The RFP360 SaaS platform works with RFPs, requests for information (RFIs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and vendor security questionnaires.[1] For RFP issuers the platform provides features for digital questionnaires, client discovery, vendor evaluation, collaboration, project management and workflow.[6][10] The platform also has RFP response features including a proposal content repository, real-time collaboration and RFP automation that uses artificial intelligence.[7]
