RK Aerodrom Skopje (HC Aerodrom Skopje) (Macedonian: РК Аеродром Скопје) is a handball club from Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The team competes in the youth leagues of the Handball Federation of Macedonia. RK Aerodrom Skopje has other youth teams, for younger players, with different handball schools for different ages.[1]

International Tournaments[edit]
Meteor 2016[edit]
In 2016, the 11th handball tournament of Meteor held place in Leskovac, Serbia. RK Aerodrom Skopje competed in the category of 2002 and younger players. They went through the semi final, by being second placed in their group, . In the semifinal they played versus the home team RK Meteor, and after a very tight match, RK Meteor won and RK Aerodrom lost the hopes for the gold. In the last match for RK Aerodrom, they played versus RK Rabotnički from Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, and RK Aerodrom won by a huge goal difference and won the third place on the tournament.[5]
Locomotiva Cup 2017[edit]
In 2017, one of the strongest tournaments in Europe held place in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina. RK Vardar and RK Aerodrom Skopje were the only teams from the Republic of Macedonia that competed on the tournament. RK Aerodrom was drawn with RK Zagreb from Croatia, RK Sloga from Serbia and RK Trimo Trebnje from Slovenia in their group. In the opening match, RK Aerodrom lost from RK Trimo Trebnje by only one goal difference. In the second match, RK Aerodrom was outclassed by the strong RK Zagreb and in the last match of the group RK Sloga won by three goals difference. Sadly for RK Aerodrom, the hopes for medals were lost early on the tournament. Later on the tournament, RK Aerodrom Skopje played only for a better position. They played versus RK Dzakovo from Croatia and again they lost only with one goal difference in a thrilling match. In the last match RK Aerodrom Skopje played versus the famous team from Hungary, MVM Veszprém KC. In the match, RK Aerodrom showed their real strength and outclassed HC Veszprem. RK Aerodrom Skopje placed 21st from 24 teams.[6][7]
