Raúl Torrez
Raúl Torrez is an American politician who is the New Mexico Attorney General-elect.[1]
Torrez served as the district attorney for Bernalillo County, New Mexico.[2] In May 2021, he announced his candidacy for New Mexico Attorney General in the 2022 election.[3] He won the Democratic nomination, defeating New Mexico State Auditor Brian Colón,[4] and faced Republican Jeremy Gay.[5] Torrez defeated Gay.[6]
