The company's business until 1988 is presented here. The period from 1988 to liquidation needs to be specifically studied. The new management (Ante Mlinarić, Mijo Ivanković) was set up in this period (1988–2013), the management and management system was changed, privatization was carried out, business policy changed and the name changed (since 1992 the company has been named : "HERBOS d.d." za proizvodnju kemikalija i kemijskih proizvoda Sisak). The business is gradually collapsing and eventually the forced administration is introduced and bankruptcy proceedings are carried out. The HERBOS bankruptcy was opened in late 2011, and was completed in 2013 by a court decision on liquidation.

Laboratory

Radonja was founded by a decision of the Presidency of the Government of the Republic of Croatia no. 9935/46 of September 10, 1946. It was decided that the existing tartaric acid plant Resman Zagreb will continue its work under the name Radonja dd, as a factory in Zagreb. Immediately after this it was decided that the factory shall be moved to Sisak. The production of tartaric acid in Sisak began in 1948. In 1949 Radonja was annexed by Oxygen Factory Sisak. By the decision of the City People's Committee on May 1, 1953, the oxygen plant was moved to Zagreb. In 1956 Radonja enters the production of auxiliary materials for the rubber industry. Production of pesticides started in 1957, with the production of organic mercuryl fungicide "Radosan". The range of pesticides was supplemented by the production of liquid and powder insecticides. At the beginning of the 1960's, production of triazine herbicides began. The production of a wide range of pesticides was rapidly adopted. The iodine production plant that worked within the Iodine Spa of Sisak by the decision of the Sisak Municipal Assembly of 18 December 1957 was added to Radonja. The production range of this plant was expanded in 1959 with the production of clean chemicals. The production of alkaline phosphorus fertilizer began on January 25, 1965. The introduction of production of construction materials (hydraulic lime lime and metallurgical cement) was the consequence of abandoning the production of artificial fertilizer Pelophos. The program was then complemented with products of higher processing quality, production of concrete tiles and auxiliary powder building material. The production of a reagent test, a means for clinical diagnosis, started in 1965. The production program was then expanded with the production of dispersive paint paint for walls, facades and concrete. Further development of Radonja was based on the modernization of the manufacturing process and on the expansion of the market and the development of cooperative relations with domestic and foreign companies.
