97.1 Radyo Bandera Sweet FM (97.1 FM) is a radio station owned by Fairwaves Broadcasting Network and operated under an airtime lease agreement by 5K Broadcasting Network, Inc. Its studio and transmitter are located at Jimalalud, Negros Oriental.[1]
The frequency was formerly used by DYLS under the ABS-CBN Radio from January 20, 1992 until it went off the air on May 5, 2020 due to the cease and desist order of the National Telecommunications Commission as ABS-CBN's legislative franchise to operate expired the day before. Back then, it was located in Mandaue, Cebu.
