Rae the Doe is an American comic strip by Olive Brinker, a cartoonist from New Jersey with a BFA in Computer Art and Animation.[1]

- Rachael Theresa Doe[2] aka. Rae the Doe is the strip's protagonist; a gay[3] transgender[4] doe who is nervous, optimistic, hopeful, and very passionate about her interests[1]
- Mimi, Rae's girlfriend. A punk skunk.[1]
- Cybil, a moth who works as a librarian.[5]
- Lottie, Cybil's girlfriend,[6] an opossum who loves trash.[5]
- Pascal, a bat who lives with Rae.[7]
- Sawyer, a squirrel[5] who teaches at a college.[8]
