Rafhan Shaukat is a Pakistani music artist and animator. He founded Lahore-based Blacksmith Animation Studios in 2019, and is currently the CEO of the company.[1] He has produced a music album "Captain Assassin!" which is due for release on June 15, 2022.
Early life and education[edit]
Rafhan was born on May 6, 1992 in Bhawana, Punjab to Haji Shaukat Ali Lohar, an agricultural machinery manufacturing businessman. He went to Punjab International Public High School in Bhawana for early education and then for high school he joined Chenab College Jhang in Jhang. He graduated as Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore.[2]
While at UMT, Rafhan had grown interested in animation and game design, so he joined Arena Multimedia and got a certified diploma in Computer Animation.
Career[edit]
Rafhan started his professional career in early 2014 as a managing director at his father's company Shaukat Agricultural Industry.
Later from early 2016 to mid 2019, he worked at Ittefaq Unique Center as a sales manager.
In August 2019, Rafhan decided to achieve his passion as an animator and 3d artist, so he co-founded Blacksmith Animation Studios and is currently working as a CEO and animator at the company.[3]
Rafhan produced a music album "Captain Assassin!" in 2022 by label Blacksmith Music, which is scheduled to release on June 15.
