Ragam

ragam_, is an Indonesian alternative independent band formed in Cilandak, South Jakarta. The band lineup consisted of brothers Rinaldo Laksasena, and Bramega Sanditama, brother in law Sonny Wicaksono, their cousin Andri Fajar Arafah, and their childhood friend Rendrato Sena. The band had been playing on & off for years, covering songs, just for fun. The name “ragam_” was created in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

ragam_ began producing & recording their materials in in early march, before the world wide announcement of Covid -19 pandemic in Rendrato’s owned studio recording, Soundhead studio in Antasari, South Jakarta.With the help of Dwi Putra Bachri which one of the studio owners who allows Ragam to work in the studio during the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).

ragam_ EP ‘s “Tawa Gila Kota” as their debut release that soon will be a complete album. The EP consist of 3 songs. Lyrical theme was Inspired by how 2020 Pandemic, modern life globalization, economic, social, education, social media and national problems shaped their generation with ton’s of anxiety & issues that the generation have to face on wards. Alternative musical style was the outcome from the combination of each band members musical reference and influences.
