Rahel Romahn
Rahel Romahn is an Australian actor and director. He is a Kurdish genocide survivor who sought asylum in Australia with his family when he was three years old. He has worked professionally in Film, Television and Theatre since the age of 13 and is represented by Shanahan Management.
Rahel was nominated for an AACTA and Logie awards for his complex portrayal of a troubled teenager in 'The Principal' and has starred in multiple Australian and US films and tv shows such as: Australian Gangster, Secret City, Mr Inbetween, Pulse, The Other Guy, Plans, Hyde and Seek, Cleverman, Janet King, Ready for This, Underbelly, Here Out West, also starring Arka Das Mo in The Combination directed by David Field, Written and Produced by George Basha and John Tedesco Ayoob in Ali's Wedding directed by Jeffrey Walker and starring Osamah Sami, Don Hany Nick in Down Under directed by Abe Forsythe and starring Fayssal Bazzi, David Field and Damon Herriman Shadi in Alex & Eve directed by Peter Andrikidis and starring Andrea Demetriades and Richard Brancatisano Tez in Streets of Colour directed by Ronnie S. Riskalla and produced by Yolandi Franken
He has also starred in seven plays at the highly esteemed Sydney Theatre Company they are: No Pay? No Way!, Lord of the Flies, Cosi, Mary Stuart, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Harp in the South, Queen Fatima
