Rahul Singh (born 28 March 1985) is an Indian actor, best known for his role as Pratap in the Star Bharat hit comedy-drama Kya hal Mr Panchal and TV Show Shaadi Ke Siyape on &TV, He is from Jamui district of Bihar.[1][2]

Personal life and education[edit]

Singh was born on 28 March 1985 Jamui, Bihar to Naval Kishore Singh and Nirmala Devi. He completed his high school in R.K Mitra High School Deoghar and Intermediate from S.P College Dumka Jharkhand, India. He completed his graduation from Mumbai University, India. In November 2017, Rahul Singh was married to Shivani Rahul Singh. On 13 October 2018, Rahul Singh became father of a daughter.[4][5]

Career[edit]

Rahul Singh is a theater-based actor. He entered the film industry after graduating from Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting school. He attended the school with fellow Indian actors John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan. He rose to fame and is still best known for playing Pratap in Optimystix Entertainment's Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal?. He made his debut in the TV show Janani, which aired on the DD National. Right after this show he did Kalpana which also aired on DD National in 2009. After these shows, he participated in the Laughter Express airing on Mahuaa TV in 2010 and eventually went on to win that show.[6]

Currently, he is portraying an important role in TV show Tera Kya Hoga Aalia on Sab TV.[7]

In 2012, As an Actor he played an important Character in Star Plus TV show Ruk Jaana Nahi. Throughout his acting career, Rahul Singh has played important roles in many TV serials like Judagu Lal on Mahuaa TV in 2011, Gazab hai Bhai Reality Show on Zee Purvaiya (As an Anchor) in 2012, Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai on Sab TV in 2015, Bhanumati On Duty on Sab TV in 2016, Madhumati on Sab TV in 2016,Shaadi Ke Siyape on &TV in 2019. He is currently seen as an anchor in sketch / spoof comedy show Apna News Ayega and as an actor Tera Kya Hoga Aalia airing on Sab TV. [8][9][10][11]

Rahul Singh has written Screenplay ,Story and Dialogue of Tera Baap Mera Baap  tv show aired on Big Magic in 2018 .[12]

As an assistant director and associate director Rahul has also worked in Meet Mila De Rabba on Sony TV in 2007, Jeevan Saathi and Sabki Laadli Bebo on Colors TV in 2008.
