Rahul Subrahmanian (1989) is an Indian music composer and singer.
Biography
Rahul Subrahmanian is an illustrious Indian music composer and singer hailing from God's own country, Kerala. Born in a family of trained artists and musicians, Rahul is a trained exponent of Indian classical and Hindustani Music. From the Thespian Mohanlal to Unni Mukundan Rahul has scored music for a plethora of stars and churned out many hit compositions. One of his latest movies, HOME, was critically acclaimed and his music was extremely and widely appreciated. He is the recipient of Big fm[1] award for best debut music director in 2013 for the film Philips and the Monkey Pen. He also bagged the best music director Award from Reels International film festival 2021.
His ongoing projects include Kathaanar with actor Jayasurya, a very high budget movie, and a Telugu movie Bhramachari with Vennila Kishore and a Malayalam movie Nammaku kodathi kaanam with actor Sreenath Bhasi.
Career
Rahul initially started his career as a singer with the title song for the movie Thattatin marayathu. As a singer, Rahul has many hit numbers. His adoration for cinematic art has made him start a state-of-the-art post production facility in Kochi called Poetic Prism and Pixels. Poetic has become the hotspot for all major malayalam movies post production. Rahul also owns a new production and VFX and virtual production company “poetic stories.” Rahul Subrahmanian, apart from film music, has several independent songs and albums to his repertoire. He also does jingles and music for advertisements. He had composed ad music for the prestigious Lulu group[2] from 2015 to 2019. His clientele includes many international companies too.
