Raisin Global is an Indian fashion brand under the parent company Parvati Fabrics Ltd. founded by Vikash Pacheriwal and Vishal Pacheriwal.[1]. The brand’s head office is in Surat, Gujarat and branch office in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The brand offers a wide range of contemporary fusion fashion for women of all ages with products line consisting of Kurtis, Tunics, Dresses, Maxis & more[1]
The clothing is available both online and offline. Raisin has its own e-commerce website and is also available on Amazon India. And through the mediums of MBOs and EBOs, and also through SIS retail model to reach a large audience, the brand is available in many major cities with plans of expansions in the coming years
History
The founders, Vikash and Vishal Pacheriwal had ample experience of over 30 years working with Parvati Fabrics Ltd.[2]., a well-known name in the manufacturing and exporting business offering sophisticated and stylish traditional womenswear like lehengas and sarees. After the successful run, both the founders could find a huge vacuum where their B2B business model did not give them access to the consumer directly. And thus to bridge this gap through the retail industry, Raisin was launched[2]
Apart from the traditional approach with the parent company, both partners felt the need to deliver products that not only satisfy the need for sophisticated clothing but also provide styles for every day, casual wear.
A wide range of players already existing in the market, Raisin was launched especially to align the need for comfortable fashion, an entity that lacked in today’s modern fashionable clothes.
Collaboration
For the launch of brand’s maiden collection in August 2018, Raisin collaborated with Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar.[3]. She launched the first collection, Autumn/Winter ’18 line of the brand in Mumbai, Maharashtra on 14th August[4]
