Rajdweep (Assamese: ৰাজদ্বীপ)is a Guwahati based Indian lyricist, playwright, scriptwriter, screenwriter and journalist from Assam. [3][4][5]

Career[edit]

Rajdweep started his career as a journalist in Axomiya Khabar, an Assamese daily. He is a lyricist [6] in Assamese Music Industry. He wrote some famous songs for the Assamese singer Papon, like 'Pokhi Pokhi Mon Mur', 'Bonoria','Mathu Tumi', 'Bauli Mur Priya' etc. He is also a playwright, he writes plays for Assamese mobile theatres.[7]
