Rajkonwar (Assamese: ৰাজকোঁৱৰ, Tai Ahom language: Chao-Khun) is an Assamese royal surname meaning "Rajkumar" in Hindi, "Prince" in English. It is exclusively reserved for the descendants of Ahom Kings who ruled Assam for nearly 600 years from 1228–1826 AD and defeated Mughal Empire 17 times from invading Assam and North East India.
