Ram Prakash Dwivedi (aka: R.P.Dwivedi; born November 11, 1970, राम प्रकाश द्विवेदी) is a Hindi fiction writer, and renowned Professor of Hindi and Media Studies. He is currently professor of Hindi literature and Mass Media at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar College [1] in the University of Delhi, Delhi, India. Dr. Dwivedi is member expert of Post Graduate Board of Research Studies of Mass Communication Department of Chaudhary Ranbir SIgh University, Jind, Haryana.[2] At present he also serves as Nodal Officer (Bhimrao A College) for online RTI Government of NCT of Delhi.[3] He was also appointed as visiting professor of Hindi, Indian Culture: Media and Cinema Studies at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan.[4]

He has worked as editor of Globalculturz. He has written almost 22 reputed literary books reviews of Indian literature and he has published research papers on Cinema of Japan and Post-Postmodernism.His articles and book reviews are published by noted journals and newspapers like India Today[5], Hindustan[6][7][8][9][10][11] , Jansatta[12] Gagnanchal, Hans, Dainik Jagran[13][14], Samkaleen Bhartiya Sahitya,Jansandesh Times[15] etc.

Dwivedi was born on 11 November 1970 in the small village of Ayodhya District of Uttar Pradesh. He did his graduation in the subject of Hindi from Hindu College, University of Delhi. His interest in Hindi language, literature and media studies inspired him to continue research in the field of Hindi literature and media and he completed his doctrate degree from University of Delhi.

Career[edit]

Dwivedi started his career as an assistant professor of Hindi in Hindu College, University of Delhi. He later joined as visiting professor of Hindi Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, a reputed world university.He taught and designed the syllabai of Indian Cinema and Indian Media for the international students of the TUFS.[4]

He also joined Institute of Life Long Learning (ILLL) as a Fellow. Currently he is professor of Hindi literature and Journalism & Mass Communication in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar College.
