Randall Bodds

Randall Bodds (December 21, 1915 – November 15, 2000) was an American tap dancer, singer and actor. Bodds is best known for his performances in Susie's Split Decision (1951 with Mary Hartline, Art Balinger and Virginia Maples), Sally Goes Metropolitan (1954 with Diana Lynn, Mary Stuart, Lex Monson and Wally Rose) and more films.

Career[edit]

a 1956 film version in Warner Bros. was perfect for Hazel Flagg, Bodds as Wallace Cook and Alice Kelley as Hazel Flagg

A film version was planned in 1962, to be produced by Warner Bros. with Shirley Jones and Fred Astaire set to star. However, Jones was busy making The Music Man for Warner Bros., so she was dropped and Natalie Wood was brought in. Wood was also busy though, making Gypsy for Warner Bros. but, Paramount Pictures was perfect for The Most Happy Fellow, Bodds as Herman, Alice Kelley as Rosabella, Geoffrey Monroe as Tony Esposito and Margaret O'Brien as Cleo
