Ranjan Mistry
Ranjan Mistry(born 14th March 1996) is a first-generation Indian Social Entrepreneur, Thinker, Educationist, Journalist and Researcher.[1][2]

Early Life
Ranjan Mistry was born and brought up to Shri Gopal Sharma and Sudama Devi in Gaya & Patna, Bihar on 14th March, 1996 and raised in a lower middle class family.[3]
Career
Mr. Mistry started his career as a teacher accidentally by taking tuition when he was in 6th grade to pay for his English coaching classes fees. After that, he taught several students and even gave classes to his own classmates in the absence of teachers in the school.[4] Also, he started taking classes in slum areas with a few students from BIT Patna as slum clearance projects. Till now, Mistry has taught more than 10,000 students.[5] He also brought education to 10 Naxal-affected villages of Gaya by providing teachers regularly for more than 2-3 years continuously, and after every 2-3 months when teachers left the school, he tried again to bring new teachers.[6] In 2016, he emerged as a Social Entrepreneur.[7][8][9][10]
Currently, Ranjan Mistry is one of the youngest Serial Social Entrepreneurs and think tanks of Bihar known for developing an entrepreneurial atmosphere in Bihar. He is a founding member of Patna University Incubation Hub (PUI-Hub),[11] the first of its kind of Incubation Center cum E-Cell in Bihar at the University level.[12] In 2017, he founded Campus Varta, India's first edtech media and discovery platform that enables and connects rural students.[13][14]
Ranjan Mistry is the first from Bihar nominated for Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 as a semifinalist in 2019.[15] In 2018, he joined as one of the youngest advisory board members of Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh (BMUS), which empowers women in Bihar.[16] He is a renowned speaker, visiting faculty, and industry expert.[17] He has been mentoring more than 150+ Startups across the country. Mr. Mistry launched a program Nxt100 in which he will make 100 Entrepreneurs and personally mentor and guide them at no cost.[18] He founded Womenia Chakra Foundation, Women School of Entrepreneurship to fuel entrepreneurial leadership spirit in last-mile girls and women.[19][20]
In 2015, Ranjan Mistry proposed to open Patna School of Economics in 2015, which later changed its name to Patliputra School of Economics based on the London School of Economics and Delhi School of Economics. He also proposed and designed the proposal to open an Incubation Center and Entrepreneurship Cell at the University level, such as in Patna University, Patliputra University, Purnea University, Magadh University and Central University of South Bihar. In 2019, he proposed to open a Robotics Research Center in Bihar to the State Government.[21][22]
