Rankin is a populated place situated in Pima County, Arizona, United States,[2] located approximately 10 miles east of Tucson. A former station on the Southern Pacific Railroad, the origin of the name is unknown.[3] It has an estimated elevation of 2,785 feet (849 m) above sea level.[1]
