Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Rao Balaji Rathore was a grandson of Indian ruler Rao Ridmal Rathore of Marwar (in the present day Rajasthan state of India). Rao Balaji Rathore stayed hostile to the ruling foreign powers throughout his life and is known for his participation in The Battle of Sammel, also known as the Battle of Giri-Sumel. Bards of western Rajasthan till date recites his valour and sacrifice in the Battle of Giri-Sumel.
