History
Rastegar founded the firm in 2015 with a $3,500 loan and remains its sole owner. He is an attorney by training and an English literature graduate of Texas A&M University. Over the following decade, the firm expanded from its original Austin base into a multi-state investments across 38 cities and 13 states, while retaining the same seven asset classes it has always invested in.
Operations & Investment Strategy
The firm sources the majority of its capital from institutional limited partners, including public pension funds, insurance companies, and three separate firefighter pension associations. Rastegar Capital maintains 10 years of audited financial statements and uses a third-party fund administrator to oversee investor capital independently of the firm's own management.
Notable Projects
Current developments include INF1NITY Square, a 318-acre master-planned community in Kyle, Texas comprising 1,000 single-family homes and 1,400 apartments; INF1NITY Views, a ground-up office development on East 8th Street in Austin; INF1NITY Park, a 600,000-square-foot industrial development whose tenants include suppliers to Tesla's Austin gigafactory; and INF1NITY Living, the firm's apartment-development division. In Uptown Dallas, the firm is negotiating a partnership with a preeminent private real estate investment firm to build a project at 1899 McKinney Avenue.
Institutional Partners
Related Fund Management, the firm behind New York's Hudson Yards development, has invested in a Rastegar Capital industrial project. Other institutional relationships include Trez Capital and Aegon.
Rebrand to INF1NITY
Rastegar Capital is scheduled to relaunch as INF1NITY, a five-strategy permanent-capital platform covering real estate, private credit, technology and venture, private equity, and infrastructure, with a target launch date in late 2026.
