Ratikant Kamila[1] (born April 16, 1991) is an Indian film and television actor known for his work in the Hindi and Bhojpuri film industries. He has appeared in various television shows, films, short films, and web series throughout his career.[2]

Career[edit]

After completing his intermediate education, he relocated to Bangalore and started working at a call center. It was during this time that he discovered NACT and decided to enroll in their three-year acting and filmmaking course. In 2014, he moved to Mumbai to pursue acting opportunities.[3]

Ratikant Kamila made his debut in the television industry with the show "Aisa Prem Kahaan," where he portrayed the role of Totula Bangali. The show aired on Doordarshan's DD National (DD1) and ran for 425 episodes. He has since appeared in various television shows in episodic and supporting roles, including "Suhani Si Ek Ladki," "Qayamat Ki Raat," "Nimki Mukhiya," and "Akbar Birbal," among others.

In the film industry, Ratikant Kamila has acted in movies such as "Sarkar 3" (2017) directed by Ram Gopal Varma and "Mumbai Saga" (2020)[4] directed by Sanjay Gupta. He has also worked in Bhojpuri cinema, appearing in films like "Tuhi To Meri Jaan Hai Radha 2" (2017) directed by Shammi Tiwari.

Apart from television and films, Ratikant Kamila has ventured into short films and web series. He owns a YouTube channel called "BR International Film Production".
