Prior to his time at Kendriya Vidyalaya, from 2013 to 2017, Bishnoi attended Air Force School Jaisalmer. Air Force School Jaisalmer is a renowned educational institution affiliated with India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

From 2020 to 2024, Ravinder attended Chandigarh Engineering College, where he pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology. During his time at the college, Bishnoi actively engaged in academic activities.[3] He was involved as the Vice President of the Tech Amigos Club, a technical club within the institution from 2021-2022 but later served as the President from 2022 to 2023. In December 2021, Ravinder Bishnoi became an incubator at ACIC RISE Association for Startup Incubation.[4]

Career[edit]

Bishnoi's professional journey began during his college years when he served as the Vice President of Tech Amigos Club, a technical club at Chandigarh Engineering College. This experience allowed him to develop leadership skills and foster a passion for technology.

In 2018, Bishnoi secured a unique internship opportunity at IBM due to his exceptional performance in the Atal Tinkering Marathon, where he ranked among the top five students in the smart mobility category.[5] This experience at IBM in Bengaluru, Karnataka, further honed his skills and provided practical exposure to the industry.

In 2019, Ravinder Bishnoi became an executive member of the ISERDIndia-Intellectual Society for Entrepreneurship and Research Development. During his tenure, he actively contributed to society's initiatives and worked towards fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem.

As the Founder and CEO of KieKie Pvt Ltd, Bishnoi embarked on a new entrepreneurial journey in March 2022. KieKie Pvt Ltd is incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, focusing on undisclosed activities in India.[6] He also launched a mobile app on the Play Store called "Contact Opener" that allows users to send WhatsApp messages to anyone without the need to save their number.

Patents[edit]

Bishnoi has obtained patents for his notable technological advancements aimed at improving safety and reducing noise pollution.

In 2021, he conducted an experiment to extract oxygen from the moss which is typically found in ponds and appears in shades of green. The inspiration for this idea came from the life of fish which proved to be successful. Ravindra devised a machine based on this concept and obtained a patent for it in December of the same year.[7]

The first invention, known as the "Assembly for Retraction of Side Stand," has been granted a patent on October 31, 2022. This technology focuses on enhancing the safety of two-wheeler drivers by automatically detecting and alerting riders, particularly those operating motorcycles when the bike's side stand is down. This common cause of major accidents and injury is effectively addressed by the device, which also features an automatic retraction mechanism for the side stand, thereby safeguarding the rider(s).[8]

Similarly, Ravinder's second patented creation, the "Vehicle Horn Control Assembly," also received a patent on April 18, 2022. This technology addresses the issue of noise pollution caused by unnecessary horn honking by vehicle users. The device consists of two components—an advanced circuit breaker and a radio frequency-based system—that work together to automatically reduce the horn volume to zero. By countering excessive horn honking, particularly near hospitals, schools, or residential areas, this invention significantly contributes to reducing noise pollution and creating a quieter environment.[8]
