Ravindra Kumar (born April 10, 1981) is an Indian civil servant (officer of Indian Administrative Service), author and a mountaineer. He has scaled Mount Everest twice and he is the first IAS officer to hold this record. He has authored two books titled "Many Everests" in English and "Lalak", "Everest - Sapno ki udaan : Sifar se Shikhar tak" in Hindi language.

Ravindra Kumar was born to a farmer’s family in Begusarai, Bihar on April 10, 1981. He cleared IIT-JEE – 1999. He worked over a decade in the field of shipping before joining as a civil servant in Uttar Pradesh Cadre of Indian Administrative Services in 2011. He first scaled Mount Everest in 2013, and then again on May 23, 2019.
