Ravith Silva

Born in 1983, Colombo, SRI LANKA to a Mechanical Engineer Rohan Silva and an English Language Teacher Nirmala Coorey.

His formal education was at St. Joseph's College, Colombo 10, SRI LANKA from year 1987 till 2002.

He has a Mathematics major for his G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in 2002

In 2002 He entered University of Kingston, Surrey, ENGLAND for higher education to pursue Automobile Systems Design Engineering (BEng). During his university life at Kingston University, he often topped the batch in many subjects and gained many awards in almost all subjects and projects.

In 2005, After completing his bachelor's degree, He was employed at McLaren Automotive, Working, ENGLAND as a Manufacturing Engineer. And in charge of creating the manufacturing process for the McLaren Mercedes SLR.
Mr Ravith Silva joined DELTA Controls, West Mosely, England in 2007 as a Project Engineer where he worked on new instrumentation design and manufacturing required for offshore oil rigs, Nuclear Power Plants, Pharmaceutical Companies etc, before he returned to Sri Lanka in Nov 2008.
In 2008 he joined the Family Business ULTRA ENGINEERING (Est 1987) and MOTOR LINK (Est 1992) as a working Director cum Engineer
In 2009 he established MOTOR LINK HOLDINGS PVT Ltd http://motor-link.com/ as a part of the expansion of the existing business lineup as well as to introduce a diversified business portfolio.
In 2014 Mr Ravith Silva founded and incorporated INGENIEURNSKUNST PVT (https://www.karstation.com/) Ltd to build a proprietary software platform to revolutionize the global Automobile Industry via the use of modern technologies such as Blockchain etc..
In 2020 Mr Ravith Silva founded KEWR Technologies PVT Ltd http://KEWRTECH.COMto design and build Sri Lankan Automobilia for the local market as well as international markets with adherence to local and international market conditions and regulations.
As part of Fair-Trade Initiative for the Automobile Industry In Sri Lanka, Mr Ravith Silva was tasked to organize and transform the Sri Lankan Automobile Industry via the NATIONAL ORGANIZER position of Sri Lana Automobile Service Providers Association (http://www.slaspa.org) in the year 2017
In 2022 Mr Ravith Silva was appointed as an Advisor to the Ministry of Industry, for Automobile Component Manufacturing and Vehicle Assembly for his extensive knowledge and pragmatic approaches amongst a sea of Automobile Investors and legislators, and moreover his influence and assistance in creating an SOP to help set the national policy to enable Local Value addition-based vehicle assembly and manufacturing.
In 2022 Mr Ravith Silva became Sri Lanka's first Chartered Automobile Engineer to be recognized by the Engineering council UK

Mr Ravith Silva is a highly influential person in the Automobile Sector, mainly in the Sri Lankan Market, and in the International Arena, he has been awarded Honorary roles by ASPA India to support the Indian Automobile Industry. His groundbreaking ideas have been widely accepted by many private and Governmental Institutions and ministries alike as the proposals he provides are pragmatic and timely that entail a wider array of positive socio-economic activities.

He is classed as a Rain Maker in the automobile Industry due to his excellent achievements during his fast-tracked development of each and every organization he has worked at and worked for. His ability to champion the Automobile Industry is unlike any other seen so far.

At Present Mr Ravith Silva is regarded as an Charted Automobile Engineer by the Engineering Council of UK and is possibly the only practicing Charted Automobile Engineer In Sri Lanka
