The Rawalpindi Ring Road (راولپنڈی مداری سڑک) is a planned 65-kilometer-long orbital highway located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. It links to the Gt road N-5, M-2 Motorway, the DI Khan Motorway, and the M-1 Motorway.
Route
The road bypasses Rawalpindi. Its route is from Rawat to Sangjani. Starting form GT road N-5 Rawat, crossing Chakbeli Road, Adyala Road, Chakri Road, M-2 Motorway, Islamabad Airport, DI Khan Motorway, M-1 Motorway to Gt road N-5 Sangjani.

[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] The project will include the construction of a six-lane divided carriageway, interchanges, RCC bridges, reinforced earth abutments/walls, overhead pedestrian bridges, culverts, sub-ways, underpasses, flyovers and related works.

Speed limit: minimum speed is 80km/hr, maximum speed is 100km/h for heavy transport vehicles and 120km/h for light transport vehicles
Separation: central raised concrete median and grade-separated junctions
Access: restricted to fast moving vehicles only, including high-performance heavy bikes. The road is fenced on either side. Pedestrians, bicycles, low-performance motorcycles, animal-driven carriages, and other slow-moving vehicles are not permitted.

This zone will be located at Chakbeli Interchange and this zone will be dedicated for establishment of new industries and ware houses for goods. This zone will be reserved for:

This residential zone will be located at Adyala Interchange and it will be reserved for Government’s housing projects. This zone will comprise:

This residential zone is planned opposite to Residential Estate 1, and it will lie adjacent to Rudn Enclave. This zone will comprise the following:

This zone lies at Chakri Interchange close to Capital Smart City, and it will be dedicated for entertainment and leisure activities. This zone will comprise:

Rawalpindi Ring Road will start from GT Road N-5 Radio Station at Rawat and lead up to GT Road N-5 at Sanjgani. There will be a total of 8 interchanges on the route to facilitate easy access for the traffic to all parts of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
