Ray L’Heureux (born 1961), also known as Colonel Ray “Frenchy” L’Heureux, was a pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps and also served in Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1), where he flew former presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama in the helicopter known as Marine One.[1][2]. In 2014 he authored the book titled “Inside Marine One”[3]. He is currently one of 3 republican candidates for governor of Hawaii in the 2018 primary election[4]
