From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Ray Nowosielski is an American documentary filmmaker and investigative journalist. His 2011 investigation first publicly identified Alfreda Frances Bikowsky, a senior CIA officer linked to post-9/11 interrogation programs, a revelation later expanded by The Intercept in 2014.[1]

Nowosielski has produced multiple News and Documentary Emmy Award-nominated films, collaborations with two-time Academy Award-winning director Barbara Kopple. His work includes the Netflix documentary Remastered: Tricky Dick and the Man in Black (2018)[2] and the History Channel film Desert One (2019).[3]

He co-created the podcast After the Uprising (2021–present), which investigated the unsolved killings of Ferguson activists, including Darren Seals—a prominent protestor whose 2016 murder drew national media scrutiny[4][5]—and Danye Jones. The series received NAACP Image Award nominations in 2022[6] and 2025.[7]
