Raymond "Ray" Zaborney is a political consultant, strategist, and lobbyist in Pennsylvania.[3][4] He is a member of the Republican Party. In 2017, The Patriot News named Zaborney as one of the 17 most influential people in Pennsylvania politics.[5][6]

Zaborney owns a campaign consulting firm, Red Maverick Media, and a lobbying and marketing firm, Maverick Strategies, which are headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.[7][8][9][10]

Ray was named a rising star in Pennsylvania politics in 2004 by PoliticsPA and was named as one of the nations ten rising stars in Republican Politics by Campaigns and Elections Magazine in 2006.[11] Campaigns and Elections Magazine named Zaborney one of the 5 most influential Republicans in the state. In 2013, Zaborney won one of Central Penn Business Journal’s “40 under 40” awards.[12]

Zaborney has served as a political advisor to some of Pennsylvania’s leading political organizations and individuals including the Pennsylvania Republican Party, the Pennsylvania Senate Republican Campaign Committee, the Pennsylvania House Republican Campaign Committee, Senator Jake Corman, Congressman Bill Shuster, Judge Sallie Mundy, Governor Tom Corbett, Lynn Swann, Senator Mike Regan, Senator and 2018 Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner, Rep. Dave Reed, and many more Pennsylvania House and Senate members.[13]
