Biography[edit]

Raymond Choon (born October 5th 1974) is a Malaysian celebrity hairstylist and the founder of HairCo salon[1]. He is a celebrity hairstylist who works closely with many Malaysian and Hong Kong celebrities. Raymond is also an active social activist, he protested against the penalization of female hairstylists for cutting their male customers' hair[2].

Early life[edit]

Raymond worked as a hairstylist in London before moving back to Malaysia and opening his own salon[3]. He has acquired many hair cutting skills in London and brought his skills back in Malaysia. With his unique skills, he quickly gained his fame in this industry.

Company[edit]

HairCo is a 1756 square-feet salon showcases a modern industrial concept with a coffee and wine bar, private VIP rooms and a mini runway for patrons to parade their new haircuts[4]. An international artist, Simon Yam[5] was one of the officiator during the launch of HairCo.
