Rbot9 is a Canadian technology company that manufactures the ROCAP, a robotic cable platform aimed at the industrial market.
History
In 2017[1] , Frédéric Vachon founded Rbot9 as an independent manufacturer of robotic devices.[2] The first patent was filed in 2019 to protect the Intellectual Property of the company and is currently valid in several countries. [3]
In partnership with Université Laval, Rbot9 developed algorithms to better evaluate the sagging and tension in the suspension cables to improve the positional accuracy of the robot.[5]
