ReInvention is the sixth album by the band Gryphon, released in 2018 by Talking Elephant, catalogue number GRIFCD01. It was their first new release in 41 years.
The album was recorded in 2017 at Morden Shoals Studio and produced by Graeme Taylor.
Art and design for the album packaging was by John Hurford.
ReInvention was launched at the band's concert at Union Chapel, Islington, on 14 September 2018.

Reception[edit]
"ReInvention" received generally favourable reviews in newspapers and progressive rock webzines. Paul Davies of the Express gave the album four stars out of five, saying that "Gryphon have returned with a magical menu of catchy songs on this charming release where humour is very much to the fore" and that "the exquisite musicianship that underlines this entrancing album [...] is hearty manna for the ears"[4]. John Bungey from The Times gave the album three stars out of five in a mixed-to-positive review[5].
