"Reach for the Light" is a song released by MCA Records and recorded and produced by English musician Steve Winwood for the soundtrack of the animated film Balto (1995). The song was written by James Horner, Barry Mann, its lyrics were written by Cynthia Weil, while the production was handled by pianist Nathan DiGesare before Celine Dion's hit single "My Heart Will Go On".

Steven Spielberg, the film's producer and James Horner the film's composer, reunites Barry Mann to wrote the song with him, and Cynthia Weil had wrote the lyrics from the way when Steve Winwood was welcomed to record and produce the song from each one,[1] from the song Somewhere Out There in 1986 where Barry and Cynthia wrote. Nathan DiGearse on piano, Chester Thompson on drums, Sam Bacco on percussion, Bonnie Keen, Chris Rodriguez, Micah Wilshire and Tina Clark on background vocals, and the Childrens Choir Kids Connection Music on chior.[2]
