Reading Derby Girls, or RDG, is a women's flat-track roller derby league based in Reading, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2011, Reading Derby Girls is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).[1]

Reading Derby Girls (RDG) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing opportunities for women to challenge themselves physically through the sisterhood of roller derby while supporting and being supported by the community. The members of RDG are strong and motivated, train hard, respect their teammates, and love the sport of Roller Derby.

Home games are hosted at Skateaway, in Shillington, Pa.

League history[edit]

In 2011, the Reading Derby Girls was created by the former President, Holly Jester and coached by Jeff Foster, speed skater and coach.

In 2015, the league entered the WFTDA apprentice program then graduating to a full WFTDA member league in July of 2017.[2]

The league holds an annual fundraiser game for Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County in the month of October, and support other local organizations through donations, volunteer efforts, and fundraisers.
