History[edit]

Late 1990s[edit]

Then, in 2005, it was acquired by Hachette Filipacchi[6]. At the end of 2008, Centaur Special Interest Media purchased the brand[7] and later sold it to its current publisher Future plc. in 2017[8]

Site launch[edit]

RealHomes.com was launched in 2017. It went through a rebrand in 2018 and launched an online television series titled The Real Homes Show[9]. The site changed direction again in 2022, targeting Gen Z and millennials with content that's pertinent to owners and renters living in apartments, small homes, house shares, and compact spaces.
