Veronica Ilyukhin Loren (born February 5, 1990 ), better known by her stage name Reality Test, is an Israeli Psychedelic trance producer, musician, and DJ.
Loren began to experiment with music production in her teenage years and decided to focus on electronic music . Before choosing the stage name "Reality Test", she performed under the name "Ilochina", becoming well known in the underground psytrance scene in Israel at a young age, And today she is considered one of the most important female figures in the international electronic music scene [1].
Biography
In 2013, Lauren adopted the name "Reality Test," which reflected her artistic path and desire to create music that connected with her personal journey [2]. Moving to Berlin to study sound engineering exposed her to a wide range of musical genres, which influenced her special style - a mixture of melodic psytrance and emotional storytelling [3].
In 2018, her track "Passion" was released with "Shanti People", on the Alteza Records label. Founded by the musician duo Vini Vici. The track was a great success and garnered millions of views and downloads on streaming services. [4] During that period, the track "Karma" was also released, also in collaboration with Shanti People and Vini Vici, and like Passion, it was also a great commercial success.
In 2019, Reality Test appeared at the Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium for the first time and later at the "Universo Paralello" festival in Brazil .
With restrictions on gatherings, the Corona period brought with it no growth in the music industry and for an artist at the peak of his breakthrough, it brought along a major challenge for reality test.
During that time, she released the track "Beyond the Sky." Produced in a single day, this track was a turning point in her career, presenting raw, exposed, and uninfluenced work. [5]

Also in 2022, Reality test collaborated with Gproject and together they released a single called "The Hook" [7] Reality Test's musical style is characterized by a powerful psytrance beat, melody, and emotional depth. Her works are influenced by traditional psytrance, electronic music (EDM), and elements of folklore. [8]
