Career[edit]
FilmAt United Artists studio in 1988, Jorgensen worked with the executive team of Anthony Thomopoulos, Roger Birnbaum, Elizabeth Gabler, and David Kirschner, as one of the first female physical production executives in Hollywood. She oversaw film production for the studio on Rain Man, Licence to Kill, Betrayed (1988 film), Child's Play, Road House (1989 film), I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, The Rachel Papers, and the development of dozens of other feature film projects and worked with notable directors like Barry Levinson and Costa-Gavras.
TV Jorgenson was a segment producer and director for three seasons at That's Incredible! [1]
In 2006, Jorgensen directed the Discovery Channel Feature Doc on the Great Bear Rainforest [2], since re-edited in 2019.
Jorgensen produced Wee Singdom for Universal Pictures.
MOVING OVERSEAS
In 2011, Jorgensen was invited to develop and head the Masters Program in Media Communication at Webster University Geneva in Switzerland. With students from over 60 countries, she created over 100 videos and media campaigns for multiple NGOs and UN agencies, including:
- ICRC Safe Driving Program
- United Nations Conference on Trade and Development
- Green Cross International
In 2017, Dr. Jorgensen earned a Fulbright Program to teach documentary production.
