He began experimenting with music production in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, initially under the alias American Saint!. Before pursuing music, he had no intention of entering the industry. He was affiliated with the collectives Teenspirit and Altair Vision which also featured rappers Echstacy, and more. His early work was influenced by the 2021 underground and rage rap scenes. He has cited Che, Osamason, Chief Keef, Trippie Redd, and Lil Uzi Vert as his early music inspirations.
