Red Rock is the unofficial name given to the highest peak in Gambia[2] with an elevation of 53 metres (174 ft). It is located in the eastern part of the country in Wuli District (Upper River Division) on the Gambian-Senegalese border[1]. The closest settlement is Makamasireh.
Among the highest peaks of African countries, Red Rock is the lowest of them all.
