Redeemer Christian High School (often abbreviated as RCHS) is a private school located in Ottawa, Ontario. Redeemer's mission statement is, "Devoted to Christ, Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Serve."[1] [2]
The school was instituted in 1975 by a small group of educators and parents who were interested in faith-based learning. Since then, the school has grown to approximately 190 students from grades 9 through 12.[3] Their location has moved around the Ottawa area, and they now reside on 82 Colonnade Rd. in Nepean, Ottawa.[4] Redeemer Christian High School is a member of the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools,[5] and follows the Ontario Curriculum. After graduating, students are eligible to receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma[6].
Athletics
Redeemer Christian High School competes in NCSSAA, Ottawa's Athletic Association. Due to its small size, it is typically placed in Tier "A" in tiered play[7].
