Redrice Ventures Ltd (commonly known as Redrice) is a British venture capital firm based in London. The firm makes early-stage investments in consumer brands and related technology businesses, primarily in the media, sport, and health and wellness sectors.[2] Its funds have received cornerstone commitments from the British Business Bank.[2][3]
History
Redrice Ventures Ltd was founded in 4 September 2017 by Tom March, a former Venture Capital Advisor at Amulet Private Office and Partner at Evelyn and Adam Yafai, a financial planner at Amulet Private Office.[1] [2][4] Founder Tom March, currently serves as Redrice's managing partner.[4][5] Its team has included former chief executives of Saatchi & Saatchi and Thomas Pink.[4][6][7]
In 2018, Redrice co-invested with tennis player Andy Murray in the sportswear brand Castore.[8][9] Castore was later reported to be valued at close to £1 billion.[9][10]
In 2021, the British Business Bank made a £36 million commitment to Redrice's first fund.[2] The firm's portfolio has included Castore, Ocean Bottle, Luna Daily. the pet food company Untamed, Puresport, Self Space and Hylo.[8][5][11] The Venture Capitalist firm reached its first £50million close for a start up in the same year.[12]
In May 2025, Murray joined Redrice as an associate partner, shortly after ending his coaching arrangement with Novak Djokovic.[8][13][9] Murray, who had previously invested in more than 40 businesses, was expected to help source investment opportunities, particularly in sport and performance, and to support the firm's portfolio companies.[9][8] In an interview with The Sunday Times, he said he did not want to leave a void after stepping away from professional tennis.[14][8] As part of the role, Murray began assembling the Redrice Sports Collective, a group of athletes and decision-makers in sport with investment and entrepreneurial experience.[5][4]
In February 2026, the British Business Bank made a cornerstone commitment of up to £45 million to Redrice's second fund, which had a target size of £75 million.[3][2] The commitment was made through the bank's Enterprise Capital Funds programme, which aims to increase the supply of equity capital to early-stage companies in the United Kingdom.[3][4]
In July 2025, it was announced that Redrice Ventures teamed up with Lawn Tennis Association to invest in sport start-ups.[15][16][17]
