Reg Organizer is a proprietary software designed to completely remove applications, customize automatically launched applications, clean and optimize Windows, and manage the Windows system registry. The software also allows creating and comparing registry keys snapshots. It has functions for tweaking the Windows operating system, and a registry files editor.

    Capabilities[edit]

    • Advanced automatic system cleaning. Reg Organizer allows for comprehensive cleaning of the file system and registry using both standard and additional tools. This makes it possible to free disk space from outdated updates, old operating system versions, temporary files, and other unneeded items.
    • Management of the programs to be launched when Windows is started. Reg Organizer allows disabling auto-start for unneeded applications. A user can postpone launching less important apps for a certain period, which allows speeding up the operating system boot time. The efficacy of the actions taken may be assessed by using the built-in diagram that shows the durations of the last several boots of the operating system. When used as an auxiliary tool for dealing with applications auto-start, Reg Organizer offers a built-in program rating, which shows how often other users postpone auto-start of apps or delete certain apps from auto-start.
    • Advanced app uninstallation (complete app removal). Using the Add / Remove Application tool, you can completely remove unneeded software. The tool has a function (which is started after the standard uninstaller) for automatic searching for the uninstalled app remainders. It scans the system for residual data about the deleted program. It also allows installing applications with tracking in Reg Organizer. During installation, Reg Organizer takes a detailed snapshot of the system before the installation process is started. After installation, another snapshot is created for comparison. When an app is uninstalled, the snapshots are compared, and Reg Organizer cleans up any data that have not been deleted by the standard uninstaller.
    • Advanced Registry Editor. This allows performing all of the most popular actions with the system registry, which are available in the standard RegEdit tool. Additionally, it has a built-in editor for *.reg files, a function for data automatic search and replacement in the registry, and some additional features.
    • Registry optimization. This consists of two parts - compression and defragmentation. During data compression, Reg Organizer removes from registry files the entries removed from the registry. Defragmentation brings all fragments of the registry files together, which speeds the operating system boot time.
    • Tweaks. A special interface for customizing the operating system allows performing fine-tuning, customizing the OS to the liking of a particular user, and fixing various problems in the system (for example, the problem with the functioning of the Start menu in Windows 10[1]).
    • Registry snapshot comparison. Using the functions for creating and comparing snapshots, a user can monitor both individual keys and the entire registry. This allows tracking all changes to the registry made before and after the snapshots were created.
    • Undoing Changes Center. This is the Reg Organizer's built-in mechanism for backing up variable data, which allows rolling back any changes by mistake in editing the registry or while using other functions.
